Exclusive Design Policy (Updated March 7, 2026)

All products listed on our website are digital downloads only.
We do not ship or provide any physical goods.

Exclusive designs purchased before March 7, 2026 were sold as permanently exclusive designs and will remain exclusive. These designs will not be released publicly. The updated time-limited exclusivity policy only applies to orders placed after March 7, 2026.

STL Copyright Notice

All STL files are originally created by Mold2Molds.

Purchasing a design, including Exclusive Designs, does NOT transfer copyright ownership.

The copyright and intellectual property rights remain with Mold2Molds at all times.

Customers are purchasing a usage license, not ownership of the STL file.

What is an Exclusive Design?

An Exclusive Design is a custom STL design that will not be released publicly for a limited period of time.

These designs are commonly requested for:

• Business logos

• School logos

• Signature initials

• Private drawings

• Custom brand designs

• Creator artwork that cannot be converted to public resale files

During the exclusivity period, the design will not be listed or sold publicly on our website, Cults3D or ETSY store.

Please note: Designs that contain business logos or brand identities will remain permanently private and will not be released publicly. Some generic or common designs may be released publicly after the exclusivity period ends. If you are unsure whether a design may be released publicly in the future, please feel free to contact us to double check before placing your order.

Exclusive License Duration

Customers may purchase a time-limited exclusive license for their design.

Available options:

• 1 Month Exclusive License — $15

• 6 Months Exclusive License — $30

• 12 Months Exclusive License — $45

During this period: 

• The STL/OBJ/3MF/SVG file will not be sold to other customers

• The design will not be publicly listed or released

Exclusive designs may still be released publicly after the selected exclusivity period.

After the Exclusive Period Ends

Once the exclusivity period expires:

• Mold2Molds retains the right to release the STL file publicly

• The file may be listed on our website or Cults3D store

• The design may be sold to other customers

The original customer keeps their license and may continue using the file.

File Usage

You may:

✔ Use the STL to create physical products
✔ Sell physical prints (freshies, molds, etc.)

You may NOT:

✘ Share the STL file
✘ Resell the STL file
✘ Upload the STL to any platform
✘ Redistribute the digital file in any form
